ACAM Transitions IOMA Members into ACAM Oxidative Medicine Division
Laguna Hills, Calif - March 27, 2007 - The American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM), the leading association for Integrative Medicine Practitioners, has reached an agreement with the International Oxidative Medicine Association (IOMA) to unite IOMA members with those of ACAM. The ACAM Oxidative Medicine Division has been created to serve the needs of Oxidative Medicine Practitioners and distinguish their specialties.
Members of IOMA will be transitioned into ACAM and will be delegated into appropriate membership categories.
ACAM President Kenneth Bock, MD, FAAFP, CNS, said " We are very pleased to welcome IOMA members under the ACAM umbrella. As we work to move Integrative Medicine forward, adding IOMA members to ACAM adds strength to our intent."
The American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM) is a not-for-profit medical society dedicated to educating physicians and other health care professionals on the latest findings and emerging procedures in preventive/nutritional medicine.
