Toxic Exposure Related Chronic Musculoskeletal Conditions

About the workshop

The toxins that we breathe in, eat in our foods and drink in our water has a lasting effect on our bodies and can often lead to diseases.  This seminar will look at some specific toxins which are ubiquitous to our environment and some of the effects those toxins have on our body.  Then we will explore the way in which these toxins manifest into musculoskeletal diseases such as fibromyalgia, arthrosis and others.  Lastly, we will discuss means to help the body detoxify and drain these toxins and restore homeostasis.  Treatment protocols and demonstrations will be provided on mock patients.  Total body protocols will be discussed incorporating homeopathics, bioregulatory therapies, nutritional supplements, diet modifications and others will be presented to give you many options for customizing a treatment tailored to your individually unique patients.

Target Audience:

All practitioners who treat or deal with patients which manifest these chronic musculoskeletal diseases can gain knowledge by attending this seminar.  Practitioners who deal with pain management or environmental medicine are highly encouraged to not miss this exciting and cutting edge seminar.

Learning Objectives:

·         Be able to utilize bioregulatory medicine and to effectively treat the whole person, no matter what the disease

·         Acquire  awareness as to what toxins are in our daily environment & how they negatively impact our health

·         Comprehensive information on disease states such as Fibromyalgia, Arthrosis and occupational exposure to toxins

·         Specific treatment protocols to address these toxins and disease states

His current, integrative medicine practice follows a 20-year career as an OB/GYN (board certified in 1984), during which he was frustrated to witness patients gaining unwanted weight while coping with menopause and PMS.

These experiences motivated him to develop a holistic strategy for weight loss, wellness, nutrition, bio-identical hormone regulation, herbal and prescription medicine modalities.

Dr. Greer called on his training from Hahnemann Medical University in Philadelphia and later from natural medicine experts to build his integrative medical practice and philosophy. Currently, he shares his experience in speaking engagements at universities and seminars on a wide range of topics, including weight management and hormone balance for optimal wellness for men and women.  (picture to be provided at later date)

Overview of Lecture:

This lecture is designed to educate practitioners about the toxins which are ubiquitous in our everyday environment and how they negatively affect our health.  Many chronic musculoskeletal conditions are connected with exposure to environmental toxins and we will expose the offending toxins along with the adverse symptoms they manifest when the body is exposed.  Then we will discuss proper detoxification with organ support prior to draining the toxins from the tissues.  Specific protocols and whole body therapy concepts will be discussed.  All practitioners who treat or deal with patients which manifest these chronic musculoskeletal diseases can gain knowledge by attending this seminar.  Practitioners who deal with pain management or environmental medicine are highly encouraged to not miss this exciting and cutting edge seminar.
