This activity has been approved by the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine for 12 General and 2 Pharmacy CE Credits.

Target Audience
The educational activity is designed for Naturopathic Physicians. All other health care providers are encouraged to attend.

This course will enrich your naturopathic education by providing post-graduate education in critical healthcare areas.  This comprehensive workshop addresses women’s health, pediatrics and adult primary care.

Additionally, this course will enhance your professional knowledge by providing critical information about updated naturopathic advancements in nutrition, liver disease, oncology and osteoporosis.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

1. Review how the immune system functions in babies and small children.
2. Use natural remedies for the prevention and treatment of pediatric illnesses.
3. Utilize common botanical medicines in pediatrics, pregnancy, and lactation.
4. Employ evidence-based natural therapies for common conditions in women.
5. Diagnose all types of diabetes and implement dietary recommendations for treatment.
6. Recognize and treat non-alcoholic fatty liver disease with natural medicine.
7. Prescribe exercise for its hormonal effects on body composition and disease.
8. Review the biochemical mechanisms and clinical use of resveratrol.
9. Implement integrative approaches for the prevention and supportive care of cancer.
