According to the NIH, over 38% of the adult population has used a form of integrative medicine as part of their healthcare routine. As the interest in integrative medicine grows in the patient population, physicians must be ready to meet the demand. To help meet this demand, ACAM has developed this course to provide individuals the tools needed to implement integrative approaches, diagnoses and treatments into their professional practice.
Participants will learn how to incorporate nutrition, vitamins, minerals, supplements, natural hormone replacement, and lifestyle management to their daily practice. If you are finding that your patients are seeking this type of care but you don't know how to help them, this course is where you need to start. Faculties include well-known pioneers in the field of integrative medicine.
Target Audience
The course has been designed for doctors, residents and medical students who are interested in expanding their treatment modalities to include integrative medicine.
